Yuchen Huang

Hi! I’m Yuchen Huang (黄宇晨). I am currently a second-year Ph.D. student in Computer Science and Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) supported by the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS). I am honored to be a member of the RenAI Lab since 2024, under the supervision of Prof. Yiren Fung. Prior to HKUST, I received my B.S. degree in Electronic Science and Technology from Zhejiang University (ZJU) in 2023.

My research interests generally lie in the area of AI/NLP, focusing on building more human-centric, trustworthy, and transparent reasoning in LLMs/VLMs. Feel free to reach out if you are interested in collaboration or would like to have a casual discussion.

I thrive on taking on challenges and firmly believe that the sky is the limit. I am a dedicated fan of the Golden State Warriors💙💛, and my GOAT is Stephen Curry!
