Hi! I’m Yuchen Huang (黄宇晨), a Ph.D. student in Computer Science and Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), where I am a member of MMSense Lab and supervised by Prof. Yi R. (May) Fung. I am currently a research intern at ByteDance’s Dreamina Team, working with Wangchunshu Zhou. Previously, I was a research intern at Tongyi Lab, Alibaba, collaborating with Daoyuan Chen and Yaliang Li. Prior to my Ph.D., I received my B.S. degree in Electronic Science and Technology from Zhejiang University (ZJU) in 2023, graduating with the Outstanding Graduate honor.

My research interests broadly lie in AI/NLP, with a particular focus on Agentic RL for MLLMs, Coding Agents, and Recursive Self-Improvement (RSI). Feel free to reach out for academic collaboration or casual discussions.
